Paste the full Embed URL provided by Looker Studio.

Setup Instructions

This dashboard connects to Google Analytics via Looker Studio. If data is missing, ensure you have linked your GA4 property.

1. Register Custom Dimensions

Looker Studio cannot see custom event parameters until they are registered in GA4. Go to Admin > Data display > Custom definitions and add:

  • Search Query (Scope: Event, Parameter: query)
  • Contact Destination (Scope: Event, Parameter: dest)
  • Tab Name (Scope: Event, Parameter: tab)
  • Results Count (Scope: Event, Parameter: results)

* Note: New dimensions take 24-48 hours to appear in Looker Studio.

2. Connect Looker Studio

  1. Open Looker Studio and create a blank report.
  2. Select Google Analytics as the data source.
  3. Choose your Zech Support property.
  4. Add charts for "Event count" by "Event name".
  5. Click Share > Embed report, enable embedding, and copy the URL.
  6. Paste the Embed URL above and click Save.
